The 'Landscape' series has been built to investigate the pictorial gesture in a more intuitive way, exploring symbols, compositions and chromatic games, the beauty of nature, to expose the relationship between nature and urban, sensuality and tragedy, in a freer and utopian gesture. This series aims to establish a contemplative dreamlike and sensory space. The pictorial research reveals a place of memory – the summers spent on the island of Madeira – to, through these landscapes, talk about desires and pleasure.

Together they form a body of work composed by small canvases, combining several elements found in other series: the pool, water, rocks, mountains, plants and flowers, in a chromatic palette rich in warm tones.
